eCampus

WVU eCampus is a web-based course management system used at West Virginia University. WVU eCampus is integrated with STAR/Banner (WVU student information system) and with MIX (WVU academic web portal). Using a standard web browser, WVU eCampus provides instructors and students with access to online course materials from anywhere at anytime.

Instructional Technology Resource Center

The Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC) is dedicated to supporting West Virginia University faculty in the development of online instructional materials.

The ITRC increases the extent to which technology enhances the quality of teaching and learning at WVU. The mission of the ITRC is to enable the University to achieve its goals of providing a student-centered, technology-enhanced educational experience for all students.

The ITRC offers exciting new opportunities for teaching at WVU - whether on-campus or at a distance. Faculty members may use the resources of the ITRC to develop and explore new modes of teaching. The ITRC provides faculty development opportunities through collaborative projects, training, and consulting services.

IVIN

The Interactive Video Network (IViN) is a state of the art interactive videoconferencing system that connects the Morgantown campus to other campuses throughout the state or nation. The IViN network can connect to any facility having ISDN of IP conferencing capabilities. West Virginia University uses the network for classes and meetings. The network is available to private companies for legal depositions, meetings, and employment interviews as well.
