- This unique graduate program focuses in developing educational leaders within the State of West Virginia and beyond.
- Certification for the principalship is available for students holding masters degrees in areas of education such as reading or elementary or secondary education, without completion of a second masters degree.
- Alumni work in positions in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educational institutions. Graduates often pursue administrative careers, prepare for college or university research, or apply for faculty positions.

Admission Requirements
Students must have a baccalaureate degree from a college or university with at least a 2.75 grade-point average. Students must also take either the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) and score a minimum of 45, or score at least 900 total on the quantitative and verbal sections of the GRE.
Course Content
Students will study the dynamics of educational organizations, human resource dynamics, principles of education leadership, school business administration, principles of supervision, community and media relations, college student development, community college leadership, and administrative procedures in adult education.
